ALL ACTIVITIES AND FIELD TRIPS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.


Summer Daily Schedule

8:10 am – 8:25 am Arrival

8:30 am Every morning begins with Warm Ups and Research

Academic Enrichment (Reading, Math, Handwriting)

Outdoor Physical Activities: Our playground and multipurpose sports court is the focus of PE instruction and games for our older campers (Grades 2 – 5), including basketball, volleyball, four square, rock climbing and more. For our younger campers (K– Grade 1), we have plenty of age appropriate equipment such as swings, monkey bars, a sandbox, an outdoor stage, and a climbing structure plus other outdoor activities to make their playground time enjoyable.

Lunch Please be sure to pack three healthy drinks, two to three protein-rich snacks, and a BIG lunch for your camper!

Afternoon "Summer Fun in the Afternoon"

Read Aloud: Our teachers read out loud to campers from a selection of books designed to expand their minds and take them to exotic lands.

Dance Classes: Campers will be dancing to the beat, learning different styles such as hip hop, modern and jazz to fun, lively music.

Fine Art Classes: Our campers will create works of art using several different media in our art room with our fine arts instructor.

Cooking Classes: Younger campers will have a blast creating healthy, fun food under supervision of their teachers; older campers will use our fully-equipped, state-of-the-art kitchen to whip up delicious dishes and improve their culinary skills.

Science Classes: Delphi campers will be immersed in science this summer with awesome demonstrations and hands-on experiments with Professor Egghead Science Acadamy. There will also be LEGO building for our younger campers and LEGO Robotics for our older campers.

Swimming: For our younger campers (Kindergarten - 1st Grade), there is outdoor water play in our playground water pool with water balloons, fun outdoor games, bubbles and more.

For our older campers, there will be weekly trips to the Santa Monica Swim Center to swim in their two outdoor heated pools.

In addition to the above classes and activities, there will be plenty of age-appropriate arts and crafts such as jewelry making, beadwork, sand art and more.

Field Trips*: Weekly onsite and offsite field trips are scheduled throughout the summer (see Calendar for more details).

3:45 pm – 4:00 pm End of Day and Pick up
